17-year-old arrested in connection with the murder of a man in the Parkland neighborhood

A teenager was arrested in connection with a murder in the Parkland neighborhood in April, according to Louisville Metro Police. A 17-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder and robbery in connection with the death of 19-year-old Denim Miller. Miller was shot just before 11 a.m. on April 21 in the 1400 block of Catalpa Street. Initially, police reported that Miller was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment, although his injuries were not considered life-threatening. However, Miller later died in hospital. Police did not say how his condition had deteriorated since the time of the initial report.
