2022 City Memorial Day Weekend Schedule

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Most Corpus Christi City offices, including City Hall, public libraries and the Municipal Court, will be closed Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2022.

Solid waste management operations: (Remembrance Day)

• Waste and recycling WILL BE COLLECTED remembrance day
• heavy brush WILL NOT be collected on Remembrance Day
• JC Elliott Transfer Station WILL BE OPEN regular hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Memorial Day
• Cefe Valenzuela landfill WILL BE OPEN regular hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Memorial Day

Animal care services:

• To open Saturday, May 28, for adoptions by appointment from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Farm (normal operational closing day) Sunday 29 May
• Farm (holiday) Monday 30 May
