October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and organizations around Parkland are doing their part to show their support.

Moms play Mah Jongg welcomes a Pink Challah Bake and Mah Jongg party benefiting Sharsheret – the Jewish breast and ovarian cancer community. At Thursday October 14 at 7:00 p.m., Bakers will participate in a Focus on Challah Making class with Challah Guru herself, Mandylicious. Then, participants can play Mah Jongg while their bread is baking.

The event takes place at the Family Bagels of Long Island, located at 5906 Coral Ridge Drive.

Players will enjoy dessert, coffee, raffles and more. It’s an opportunity to socialize and play with friends, eat and have fun while helping a good cause.

Registration is $ 36 and includes a donation to Sharsheret, making your own pink challah, dessert, and coffee.

Space is limited, so register in advance or visit for more information.
