UFC 268 is almost there, and as usual, Embedded is there too. The show that gives you a look at big-name PPV contestants has released the second episode of this weekend’s massive Vegas show, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the map.
We start with Michael Chandler’s house, where he is in his “Sanctuary of Suffering”. His garage with a sauna hose blowing in, exercise bike. He thinks he works harder than most, and some fighters don’t dedicate themselves like him. He wants to make the most of himself.
In Colorado, Justin Gaethje plays golf with his pals. 100 on the first nine, 100 on the back nine, 100 on the overall score. He loves golf. He says the prettiest women follow golf (I would dispute that). He says he’s going to fight his way and Chandler won’t have any control over it. His friend saved 200 bucks on a missed putt from Gaethje, lol.
Usman boards the private plane and chats with the pilot. He plays Uno with his teammates and his manager. He says Colby Covington is just a guy. He can say and do whatever he wants, but it doesn’t matter.
Back to Chandler, who packs his bags and talks about Gaethje. He was tested by USADA three times at this camp, and was tested seven times in four weeks before his last fight. “Clean athlete,” he says.
Rose Namajunas is also packing her bags. She talks about her church service message that morning.
Direction Covington. He’s in Central Park. Saying things that no one cares about. The worst part about covering these Embeddeds is having to listen to this guy. His coaches try to convince him. Sure.
And that’s all! UFC 268 drops this Saturday night at MSG.
