Where to get the Pfizer or Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine in Sydney: All the sites you can ENTER and get your jab

New South Wales recorded 291 new cases of COVID-19 in a 24-hour period on Friday – the state’s largest daily increase since the start of the pandemic.

NSW has also recorded another death, a woman in her sixties from South West Sydney who died in hospital in Liverpool. She was not vaccinated.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has repeatedly urged residents of the state to get vaccinated as soon as possible, to offer a way out of the current restrictions triggered by the outbreak of the highly contagious Delta strain virus.

“I also really want to call to arms again to get vaccinated – we are doing better than we had before in terms of the number of people vaccinated each day and that is positive,” Berejiklian said on Friday.

“I can’t tell you how important it is to increase these immunization rates because it will give the government better options on what we can do in the future. “

And there is now walk-in vaccination clinics across Greater Sydney offering free AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone aged 18 and over.

There are no appointments required, no referral from a general practitioner, and bilingual health workers are available to answer any questions about the vaccine.
